 From October 1, buyers of investment insurance products will be tested.

Complex insurance products with an investment component can be sold to an unqualified investor only if he/she understands their features and risks. The market participant must test him/her..
This innovation came into force on October 1, 2024.

If an investment insurance contract was sold without testing, you can cancel the contract, return the insurance premium in full and demand reimbursement of expenses associated with its conclusion.

Testing may not be carried out for expensive insurance policies with a large one-time payment (RUB 1.4 million or more), as well as for insurance policies where the amount of the surrender value is at least 95% of the amount of contributions already paid in case of early termination.
